It's been a round year since we have started to run our blog. Throughout this whole time 40 posts and countless pictures have been published. From 19,000 web entries, about 4,500 were entries to our blog. We have had visitors both from neighbouring countries, as well as other like Japan, Canada, Australia or New Zealand. Practically, it would be easier to mention the countries, from which we have had no visitors at all.
We have managed to involve a multitude of people in writing the posts. Our friends have occurred to be eager to help from the very beginning, so were able to launch an English, German or even Russian version.
The blog has given us an incredible possibility of observing how step by step new parts of the building are settled. In some time, when we will be already sitting in our new center, we will be able to organize an evening dedicated to the history of the construction. While watching the archive pictures, we will have a glass of good wine in excellent company.
But before that happens, let us remind ourselves how our building was growing.

One picture can tell us more than dozens of words. We are just closing the last stage connected to building the main shape of the house. Our contractor occurred to be well-chosen. We can surely say that the workers have risen to the challenge. Every day there is less of them and their work looks now completely different than you could see in our previous posts and pictures.
In the basement and on the first floor new walls have appeared, built from bricks and ceramic air-bricks. The Mahakala Room has also got another wall. You can see it all in the pictures here. A new step ahead will be covering our wonderful building with a good roof and providing it with a part of the windows and skylights. It will take place faster than anyone of us had expected, because we are planning to get to that stage at the turn of February and March. |

Dear friends, Sherab Gyaltsen Rinpoche blessed our new center (and he devoted some time to it). Rinpoche also sent good wishes to all of our sangha friends. Best wishes from the Boudha stupa, Arleta |

Every new day brings us more walls on the first floor. Slowly, the first residential rooms are getting their final shape. We already know what the view is like from each and every window. So far, the best view is from the northern side, where you can see the pond and the park on the other side of Pomorska street.
Space on the first floor will be divided into two parts: residential area consisting of eight rooms and the social part where every visitor will have a chance to sit by the table, plug in his laptop and work or take out a book and read it in peace and quiet. Concearning the residential part, every room will have a separate bathroom. One of the rooms will be a special guest room.
The free space above the staircase will allow people from the ground and first floor to communicate. We are also planning to make a tankha exhibition there.
